This 200 degree panoramic photograph from the Blakeway Publishing Company was taken from a helicopter by Mark Segal using a specially mounted panoramic camera. It features Tokyo, the capital of Japan with the red and white Tokyo Tower in the foreground and the Shinjuku in the distance, left of the tower. The large green area in the distant right of Tokyo Tower is the Imperial Palace Gardens. Imperial Palace, partially visable between the tall buildings, is the home of Japan¹s emperor aand imperial family. The large green area further to the right is the Hamarikyu Detached Garden and just beyond and slightly left of the garden is the area of Tokyo known as Ginza, a very upscale shopping area.
