This panoramic photograph of Saint Paul, Minnesota from Blakeway Publishing Company was photographed by James Blakeway. It features a spectacular view of downtown St. Paul located along the banks of the Mississippi River. Featured to the left is the domed Cathedral of Saint Paul and the brightly lit Minnesota State Capitol Building. Located to the right is the Ice Castle. Constructed for a Saint Paul winter celebration, itıs the largest structure ever built. With over 30,000 blocks of ice, the Ice Castle weighs about 15 million pounds.
