This panoramic photograph from Blakeway Publishing Company wa taken by Christopher Gjevre. It shows a twilight view of downtown St. Louis, Missouri looking acoss the Mississippi River. Featured is the world famous 630-foot Gateway Arch, symbolizing St. Louis¹ role as gateway to the west. Five people at a time can take a four minute ride on a space-capsule-type car to the top of the arch and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of St. Louis. On the river is the paddle wheeler Belle of St. Louis. Also downtown, left of the arch, is Busch Memorial Stadium.
