This panoramic photograph of Cleveland, OH was taken by James Blakeway. It features a spectacular twilight view of downtown Cleveland, with Lake Erie to the left. When the Ohio Canal opened in 1832, it linked Cleveland with the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers and initiated the growth of the frontier settlement into an industrial and commercial center. At the far left is Cleveland Memorial Stadium, home to the Cleveland Browns Football Team.
