This panoramic photograph was taken from a helicopter by James Blakeway. It features an aerial view of Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, one of the founding clubs of the USGA. The stately clubhouse, designed by Stanfor White, is prominently featured in the photograph. Built in 1892, it is the oldest clubhouse in America. Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is located in Southampton, New York and was founded in 1891. It was the site of James Foulisą U.S. Open victory.
