About this book...
Valerie Solanas, an unstable individual with an abusive upbringing, made headlines in 1968 for attempting to kill Andy Warhol. A radical feminist and creator of SCUM Manifesto (Society for Cutting Up Men), Valerie shot Andy Warhol after being rejected from the Factory scene. This incident was later made into a movie titled I Shot Andy Warhol and the script was then published in a book under the same title. In addition to the script, Valerie Solanas' SCUM Manifesto and a brief biography of her life are included.
