Hollywood Bowl
Hollywood, CA-1990

You could have heard a pin drop when Miles was doing a solo this night...I had an assignment from a jazz magazine to photograph him and was on my knees, on the ground - practically on top of him when I cracked up laughing and thought.."if he only knew that two days before this concert I was the madwoman who made that wild u-turn in the middle of a busy street so I could follow him in his bright butter yellow Testarossa all the way up Santa Monica Blvd." When I got home I wrote a poem about him, which unfortunately I've misplaced through the years.
